"I wish I could invent something like blue jeans, something to be remembered for"- Andy Warhol. I am a biologist with a Ph.D. in ecology from IISc, Bangalore. I trained in Zoology till my postgraduate. While doing my MSc I got interested in Ecology & Evolution and wanted to learn a little more about it. It has been 9 yrs since and I am still learning. I am interested in fields of animal behaviour, cognition and communication. Through these years I have discovered my love for rainforests and everything they hold. I notice small things in life, what most people take for granted or worse still, do not notice at all. My heart bullies my brain in 8/10 cases. I am easily lured by good food. I respect those who respect others and dislike people who like to be diplomatic all the time.

New find: Methods Journal.. yipeee!!!

New find for me, hope it will be useful for several others who find it hard to publish methods papers. It is strange that only a handful of journals seem to be interested in publishing methods stuff. One would imagine that its the method (apart from the question, of course) that forms the foundation of the quality of science!

Anyway, here's the link: http://www.methodsinecologyandevolution.org/view/0/aimsAndScope.html

The good thing is that the Journal is under the British Ecological Society and so your paper wil surely get eyeballs :)
